Dear Families and Friend of Orange Health Care,
We have arriving this month two of these beautiful, private tents for our patio, which we will be using to provide you and your loved one a more comfortable visiting environment. They will allow visits to continue safely and comfortably outside as the weather cools, and even in inclement weather.
All of the same core principles of COVID safety are required to stay in effect: 6 feet of distance between residents and their visitors, universal masking, no touching, and no eating or drinking. We thank you for helping us maintain these criteria as we all navigate the global pandemic.
We care greatly about your safety, as well as the safety of our residents and staff, during these unprecedented times. Some of you may have read about the recent outbreaks in several Connecticut nursing facilities, and here at Orange Health Care we are being as diligent as possible in the interest of protecting not only our residents' and staff's safety, but also the safety of you and your family. Adhering to the core safety principles of COVID and being outdoors is the best way to do this.
We expect the first of these tents to be up and ready to be used by next week.
